Just Cuts Lismore back in business after completing final renovations

07 三月 2023

As the Northern Rivers continues rebuilding,  the Just Cuts Lismore team are excited to be part of the local small business recovery having styled over 120 Clients since reopening last Thursday morning.

Since reopening as a pop up salon in the middle of Lismore Square in December 2022, Just Cuts Lismore has now undergone a complete refurbishment to bring great value Style Cuts for local residents in a brand new six styling chair salon.

Casino resident and fully qualified Just Cuts Stylist of 28 years, Christie Trigg, is delighted to reopen the updated salon that’s already contributing towards Lismore's ongoing economic recovery.

“I’m incredibly grateful to be working in our brand new salon, and for the strong local support we’ve had both on reopening day last Thursday and over the weekend,” said Christie.

“Everyone was so glad to see us. So many are still struggling getting back into their homes and getting insurance or buybacks. They feel stuck in limbo and they’re anxious about what’s next.

“We had clients come from 2 hours away in Tenterfield. There’s just so much more assistance required to rebuild not just Lismore, but our entire Northern Rivers region.”

Christie is still growing her team and recruiting fully qualified Stylists and apprentices, with flexible opportunities available for qualified hairdressers looking for work.

“Just Cuts provides great opportunities for local hairdressers and there’s plenty of part time roles available, particularly on weekends. At Just Cuts work life balance is important, so roles are flexible to suit your lifestyle or family commitments”

Despite the rising cost of living, at Just Cuts even if you have your hair completely re-styled, the price remains the same at just $39. We also offer custom pricing for seniors, students and children on selected days of the week.

“The big requests for women at the moment are curtain bangs and butterfly cuts, while kids will frequently go for the mullet if they’re allowed to have it at school,” said Christie.

The salon is open 7 days a week and offers contactless Check-In through the Just Cuts loyalty app, which enables Clients to check out wait-times and Check-In to the salon from home or in the centre.

Every Style Cut earns points towards vouchers to use in salon and includes birthday rewards.
